Bringing Lovecraft Letter to Arkham Horror
In Arkham Horror Lovecraft Letter, you are an investigator following a series of clues apparently left behind for you to find, but beware, as some of them contain forbidden secrets or are protected by supernatural beings that could threaten your well-being. During the game, you hold one secret card in your hand. It represents the clue that you have chosen to follow at that moment. However: some clues are more dangerous than others and could get you – and not your competition – eliminated. The player who has the highest value card in their hand at the end of the round has found the most useful clue!
Expanding on the Award-Winning Game
The Love Letter game system is famed for its simplicity, deduction gameplay, and fast rounds. When working with a base of “step one: draw a card; step two: play a card” there is a lot of design space available to adapt to new fandoms and worlds. This version expands on the 2017 edition of Lovecraft Letter, introducing Arkham Horror to intensify and focus the Lovecraftian theme. You’ll also find alignment in upcoming Love Letter game releases.
This One is for Love Letter Collectors
Love Letter is getting a packaging update you will find consistent with Arkham Horror: Lovecraft Letter. Collectors will be excited to learn that the cards will no longer need to rely only on the velvet bag for storage, and instead will be sold in a display-friendly game box which can hold the loaded-up velvet bag. This will not only look great in your next shelfie but is also part of an initiative to reduce single-use plastics, making Love Letter a more environmentally friendly title.
Alignment with EDGE Studio and Fantasy Flight Games
The best part of being an Asmodee studio is having a built-in family of studios that focus on different ways to play and entertain. We’re excited to be releasing Arkham Horror: Lovecraft Letter in alignment with releases for The Drowned City expansion by Fantasy Flight Games and the Night of the Zealot starter box by EDGE Studio. Enjoy the full Eldrich experience with the living card game, the roleplaying game, and now the party game for the more casual moments in between.
